Become a Volunteer

Prism Foundation relies heavily on our outstanding community of volunteers to successfully carry out our mission and work.

If you are interested in helping the Prism Foundation, there are a variety of ways to get involved, each with varying levels of time commitment.

Please note that some of these opportunities take require your presence in the San Francisco Bay Area while others can be performed remotely.

Some of the ongoing volunteer opportunities include:

• Join a deliberations committee that selects the recipients of the Prism Foundation’s scholarships and community grants. Learn more here.

• Support our annual event Community Connections.

• Serve beverages at the Up Your Alley Fair or Folsom Street Fair, which are critical fundraising avenues for our programs.

• Help plan and organize the new QTAPI Emerge Fellowship, which will cultivate new and growing leaders in the QTAPI community.

• Assist the Prism Foundation’s board with various projects and initiatives.
